Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for activities such as program design, coding, testing, debugging or documentation.
  • Technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming and defines technical direction of project.
  • Engages in the evaluation and installation of software, hardware, and configuration of cloud instances and services.
  • Participates in data modeling and other data initiatives.
  • Performs tasks such as: write programs according to specifications; update, repair, modify and expand existing applications, ensure infrastructure is up and running; and evaluate problems in workflow and develop appropriate corrective action.
  • Act as technical lead overseeing other DevOps Engineers on the team.
  • Understands mission requirements or function for which application is designed and interacts with sponsor to refine requirements and deliverables.
  • Must provide data visualizations in support of the Enterprise Watch command and control team. Requires expertise in creating Splunk dashboards.
  • Must integrate multiple data streams and feeds from networks, infrastructure services, mission/business applications into a near, real-time dashboard (heads up display) for use in troubleshooting and the presentation of situational awareness briefings to executive staff.
  • Must have the ability to develop new and utilize pre-built dashboards/add-ons within the system as well as be able to create custom dashboards and search queries to meet the Enterprise Watch's needs.
  • Must be able to provide recommendations/action plans for incorporating new data streams in order to present additional visualizations.
  • Will perform technical knowledge transfer to government and military personnel to enable them to create independent dashboards and data ingestion streams within the system.
  • Must have knowledge in Splunk software requirements analysis, system integration activities, leads research, designs, develops and tests software and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems or embedded products.
  • Must have knowledge and understanding in Splunk architecture, technical planning, user experience and complex solutions.
  • Perform Splunk advance searching and reporting and must have knowledge with Splunk (SPL) Search Performing Language or basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Perform tasks data science and basic programing skills such as XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap for customizing dashboards and visualization.

Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with CI Poly (or ability to pass a polygraph)
  • Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific LCAT , with a portion of the related experience within the last 2 years
  • Education: Master's degree
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to pass a CI Poly.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/ or experience.
  • Must have 10years of experience
  • DoD and IC experience desired.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.

Travel Requirements:

Travel will be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.

Level of Responsibility:

Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of administrative/operational needs.

Reporting Chain:

This position reports directly to Axiologic Solutions' assigned Task Order Lead.

Level of Supervision Required:

The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most of the conflicts, coordinates work with others and interpret policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment.
  • Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing and walking on a frequent basis.
  • This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week on site, Monday through Friday, within the contract hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
