What the day will look like

North America represents a key region for the successful implementation of Aon's Risk Analytics market growth strategy. Reporting to the Head of Risk Analytics North America, this role is designed to accelerate activation of our risk analytics proposition through key channels and methods. Collaborating with cross-functional teams regionally and globally to develop and implement strategies that align with business priorities, elevate market presence, and foster adoption.

Risk Analytics deployment at Aon has reached a stage in which we are beginning to be able to deliver distinctive insights to drive relevance, transform value creation, and lever greater commercial outcomes for the business. This role will operate at the intersection of risk analytics leadership, commercial risk business partners, client management leadership and geography activation (marketing, sales enablement, and client management) to create and harness these insights to elevate the 'risk intelligence' narrative for next-level activation.

Key Responsibilities & What the day will look like

  • Collaborate with risk analytics product, data science, and mar/comms to identify and position insights drawn for our emerging risk analytics-derived data lake to deliver compelling insights to be harnessed by sales enablement, marketing, and client management to campaign in client engagement. Use feedback loops with collaborators and partnership with Mar/Com to iteratively enhance materials and activation approaches, ensuring maximum effectiveness in approaching the Aon network and in client engagement with emphasis on "Risk Intelligence".
  • Drive the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of activation frameworks intended to accelerate adoption and confidence among Aon colleagues in demonstrating the Risk Analytics value proposition in their client conversations in three dimensions:
    • showing up differently on existing clients for existing broking engagements,
    • white space on existing accounts, and
    • prospecting new logos
  • Liaise with marketing & communications team in the development of the market growth strategy that effectively activates the value proposition of the evolving risk analytics ecosystem and solutions narrative; asset creation, campaign execution and consistent activation at key commercial risk events with an eye towards improving prioritized outcomes to strongly position Aon's reputation for excellence in risk analytics.
  • Support/partner with leaders-including Chief Operating Officer, Sales Enablement, Client-facing Colleagues (i.e. Account Executives, Producers, ECLs), Learning & Development and Marketing & Communications-to implement, continuously improve, and activate strategic plans and frameworks that elevate the colleague and client experience with risk analytics.
  • Partner with Risk Analytics Strategy & Executions in conducting market & customer analysis to research market trends, identify customer needs and assess product adoption. Mine collected data to support expansion to additional segments (e.g. industry, middle market).
  • Develop feedback loop with emphasis on 'Risk Intelligence', to ensure we are approaching the Aon network, and Aon's clients in the most effective way.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing strategy, business growth, or related roles within the risk analytics or financial services sector.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation abilities.
  • Key skills include analytical & strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving and project management.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $205,000 to $212,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
