U.S. Commercial Risk Claims Notice Officer

Aon is currently recruiting a US Commercial Risk Claims Notice Officer to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and assuring the consistency and high quality of all aspects of U.S. claims noticing activity performed by a central US claims noticing team, as well as other US Commercial Risk Claims colleagues.

This is a hybrid role that can be located in any U.S. Aon office.

What the day will look like

  • Develop and implement claims noticing processes and procedures that will ensure the quality delivery of all claims notice service functions as defined within service agreements/TOBAs with clients.
  • Assure timely and proper claims notice across all lines of business, providing expertise and guidance on complex notice issues as and when needed.
  • Assure adherence to established Aon restrictions on claims noticing and shepherd exception requests through established consideration/approval processes.
  • Develop and maintain consistent training and discipline to reduce Errors & Omissions expense derivative of claims noticing.
  • Aid in tracking metrics / data & analytics around First Notices of Loss ("FNOL") and other claims reporting via Aon's Claims Resolution Platform ("CRP") and creating dashboard views for leadership to monitor same.
  • Lead implementation of consistent claims noticing protocol and procedure across all US Claims practices.
  • Lead transition to centralized reporting of US claims, utilizing CRP to generate notice correspondence as and when appropriate.
  • Oversee, manage, and lead dedicated claims noticing colleague team.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • BA or BS required.
  • Candidate must have at least 15 years of experience with insurance claims work, including all aspects and nuances of noticing complex claims. Experience across multiple lines a major plus.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Insurance Brokerage experience a major plus
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Knowledge of and skill with use of data & reporting tools
  • Experience in creating operating plans

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $200,000 to $250,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus] [production incentives] in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
