| Description of Responsibilities and Duties |
- Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the medication management program for residential students
- Distribute and/or administer medications following prescription directions
- Maintain accurate documentation related to medication administration and inventory
- Monitor medication supplies and ensure adequate stock
- Communicate with parents/guardians, students, preferred pharmacies, and UNCSA staff as needed
- Work closely with and report directly to the UNCSA Medical Director
- Identify and escalate medication-related concerns or discrepancies
- Complete related administrative duties supporting the medication management process
- Assist in the Student Health Center with routine outpatient nursing tasks, within the scope of practice, if need arises

| Description of Work |
UNCSA is seeking a highly organized and adaptable RN or
LPN to coordinate the medication management program for residential students. This part-time role is essential to ensuring the safe, accurate administration of medications and effective communication among students, parents, pharmacies, and
UNCSA staff.
The ideal candidate is a quick learner, strong team player, and clinically confident professional who applies critical thinking and appropriately questions medication orders or situations that raise safety concerns. |

| Required Qualifications |
- Current North Carolina RN or LPN license in good standing
- Clinical nursing experience and strong basic pharmacology knowledge
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to change and manage challenges effectively
Comfortable working with adolescents/young adults and their families

- Experience in school, residential, or outpatient healthcare settings
- Experience with medication coordination or pharmacy communication
