About the role

Project Executive will be responsible for overseeing the entire development process for a single project or potentially multiple concurrent projects.

You may be eligible for a $500 net sign on bonus to be paid out in your first paycheck

What you'll be doing



  • Analyze project documentation and parameters to establish project directives
  • Oversee project due diligence.
  • Develop schedules, budgets, and assist with proformas.
  • Assemble design and construction team including soliciting RFP's, analyzing proposals, and negotiating contracts.
  • Oversee and contribute to design to ensure budget constraints and project goals are met.
  • Manage entitlement process including zoning, permits, approvals, and licenses.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Engage with the Client and project-related stakeholders in advancing the development and delivery of the project.
  • Liase with architect, contractor, and other professional service providers to identify and manage project milestones and a successful delivery of the project
  • Ensure project maintains schedule and budget established in preconstruction phase.
  • Prepare and manage cost reporting, monthly reports, and schedule updates.
  • Oversee change order and payment process.
  • Negotiate disputes
  • Maintain certificate of insurance requirements for vendors associated with the project
  • Quality assurance of product throughout project and through close
  • Successfully turn over project to owner / operator i.e. punch list, warranty work, etc.
  • Identify, manage and report any potential risks to the project schedule and budget.
  • Integrate with Construction and Operations teams to ensure proper coordination during and post-construction.
  • Coordinate Owner's Work Schedule with all other activities
  • Coordinate and oversee all Owner's Work activities
  • Oversee testing and commissioning as part of turnover work
  • Manage the procurement and installation of Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment and any other Owner's Work.
  • Assist in obtaining closeout documents and warranties
  • Negotiate final payment, settlements, and release of lien
  • Ensure all upstream and downstream contractual obligations are met for all stakeholders
  • Provide warranty support and coordination.


Who we're looking for



  • 10+ years' experience in the real estate industry with a technical background including a degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
  • Experience in multifamily and higher education markets including on campus housing a plus.


  • Experience in public-private partnerships preferred
  • Problem solving and analytical skills required to correctly frame and guide critical decisions to ensure delivery of successful projects.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with careful attention to detail
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to manage teams.
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to successfully operate with minimal supervision.
  • Solid communication skills and ability to interact and manage a wide range of personalities and experience levels.
  • Excellent presentation and inter personal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects and excel under tight deadlines
  • Exercise high level thinking, excellent judgment and problem solving in the execution of responsibilities.
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to work effectively and display the Company Values
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project

Pay Rate: $200,000 - $220,000 yr.*

*This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
