HR Coordinator / Human Resources Administrator (Part-Time)

Schedule: 30 hours per week

Work Arrangement: Partially Remote


Job Summary

The Human Resources (HR) Administrator supports daily HR operations by maintaining employee records, processing HR documentation, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and general HR functions to help maintain an efficient, organized, and compliant workplace.


Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following, as needed:


Employee Records & Documentation


  • Maintain and update employee records in HR databases and personnel files



  • Prepare HR documents, including offer letters, promotion letters, and employment verification letters




Recruitment & Onboarding


  • Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling



  • Coordinate onboarding processes, initiate onboarding activities, and track timely completion



  • Facilitate and monitor background checks and drug screenings




Employee Relations & Support


  • Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions



  • Assist with planning and coordinating employee engagement activities as needed




General HR Administration


  • Organize and maintain HR files, reports, and correspondence



  • Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives



  • Support internal audits and HR reporting



  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned




Skills & Abilities


  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills



  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel



  • Proficiency with HR software (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems) preferred



  • General knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills



  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality




Qualifications & Experience


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience



  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of HR administration experience preferred
