Overview
The School of Graduate Studies seeks a Admissions Assistant to support operations in the Graduate School office.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Graduate School general email account, replying to inquiries or directing questions as appropriate.
  • Support Graduate Program Coordinators.
  • Process graduate applications as needed, download transcripts, calculate GPAs.
  • Managing electronic forms.
  • Processing application materials.
  • Managing student records in Banner.
  • Answering questions from email and telephone inquiries.
  • Calculating admission GPAs.
  • Supporting graduate recruitment and training events.
  • Supporting other operations within the School of Graduate Studies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
Minimum Qualficiations:
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CRM Recruit knowledge preferred.

  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently
  • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple projects.
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions or work assignments.

  • Willingness to learn new skills or techniques.

Employee generally works indoors and is protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions. On occasion, the employee is required to walk to locations on campus other than the primary workspace and may not be protected from weather conditions and may be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold.
