CNC Machinist

Pay: $33.87 per hour + $1 shift differential

2nd shift: 3:15pm-1:45am Monday-Thursday or 3-day, 36-hour (+ 4 bonus hours) work week: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 5:00am-5:30pm

CNC Machinist essential tasks:

This role involves setting up and operating a variety of CNC and manual machining equipment, including lathes, grinders, drills, and measuring machines. The candidate will also use standard machine tools and hand tools, perform welding operations, deburr parts, and conduct quality inspections using both manual and electronic devices. Responsibilities include fixture setup, assembly of components, painting tasks, and material transport using cranes, forklifts, and tuggers. The position promotes a collaborative work environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and at least one year of CNC machining experience with the ability to read blueprints and follow manufacturing instructions.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and safely using tools and equipment.
• Adherence to safety protocols, quality inspections, and use of personal protective equipment is required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.
