Position Title: Yard Shuttle Wage: $18-$19/hour Shift: A Shift Shuttle, B Shift Shuttle Hours: 7am-4:30pm, 4:15pm-2:30am We are searching for candidates with a valid driver's license for our open Yard Shuttle role! For this role, candidates must be comfortable with driving F-150 Trucks and Transit Vans to various locations throughout Kansas City. Requirements include a valid driver's license, flexibility to work on weekends as needed, and a Smart phone. Candidates must be comfortable with using phone apps for scheduling and communication as well as working outside. This is a temporary role in Birmingham, MO. Yard Shuttle Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Review passed on updates from previous shift and conduct perimeter checks once an hour - Stay awake and alert for full shift; collect paperwork and notate what is coming/going from lot; use scheduling application to confirm your schedule and additional team members on the same lot - Hit button to open and close gate; follow lot specific procedures; specific procedures are located in the Post Order binder in the Post Position #1 at main gain - Drive transit and F-150 vehicles from storage lots Driver Responsibilities - Safely operate a company, personal, or customer vehicle, following traffic laws and safety policies - Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report any issues - Ensure safe employee entry/exit and follow assigned routes - Maintain a clean vehicle and report incidents promptly Passenger Responsibilities - Follow safety guidelines, including wearing a seatbelt - Enter/exit safely and assist with directions if needed - Avoid distractions and report unsafe conditions - Be prepared to move vehicles upon arrival Yard Shuttle Requirements: - Ability to safely drive vehicles to designated locations and follow all laws and regulations - Ability to sit for entire shift, stay awake, and walk around lot - Must have own vehicle to use during full shift; valid driver's license and able to pass an MVR background check - Have a Smart/Android phone to download mobile applications that are required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
