Position Title: Scanner
Wage: $20/hour Shift: 12-Hours Hours: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Scanner for a company in Kansas City, MO. This is a temporary opportunity. Scanner Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Arrive and leave on time, with mandatory clocking in and out - Stay at post until relieved - All tasks must be finished within the assigned shift; any unfinished work must be communicated with both night shift and your manager - Approach anyone accessing the lot to offer assistance - Accurate and timely submission of all load sheets - Appropriate clothing for weather conditions and mandatory work boots - Full accountability for all events during your shift - Personal liability for any vehicle used; cautious driving recommended Scanner Requirements: - Efficient use of downtime, staying alert and prepared - Timely and accurate completion of work as it arrives - Time management skills due to fast-paced and heavy workload when activity happens - Ability to manage tasks quickly and effectively within your shift - Ensuring accuracy in all responsibilities - Capable of working under various weather conditions and adjusting to varying workload - Clear and proactive communication regarding availability and job-related inquiries - Must have reliable personal transportation - Must have a valid driver's license - Comfortable working outdoors, walking often, and available on the weekends QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
