Position Title: Powder Coater
Wage: $21.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Powder Coater at a company in Altoona, IA. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Powder Coater Responsibilities: - Assist with loading and unloading parts onto the powder coat line - Operate forklift to move materials and finished products within the warehouse - Prepare metal parts through pre-treating, sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning to meet customer specifications - Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure proper powder coating techniques are applied - Load parts onto racks, change hanging patterns as needed, and ensure consistent coating quality - Manage powder materials by sorting and transporting powders within the warehouse - Bake finished parts at designated temperatures within specified time frames to cure coatings properly - Perform setup and operation of powder coating equipment as required Requirements for Powder Coater: - Previous experience with electrostatic spray guns. dry powders and hoppers - Ability to repetitively bend and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout shift - Ability to stoop, crouch and bend consistently during job desmoinesresume@qpsemployment.com IND092 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
