Job Scope -

At Diasorin, ourten-week (June 1-August 7th) paid internship program offers hands on experience that correlates with your degree focus. You will contribute by delivering key tasks and projects that provide to our broader mission of the organization, and how we have an impact on patients' lives. As an Intern of Diasorin, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow interns, and employees through variousonsiteandoffsite activities! You will also be able to gain industry knowledge that will aid in your professional development, while showcasing your learnings and accomplishments to Senior leaders and fellow colleagues.

Department Overview

The R&D group at Diasorin works on the feasibility of new immunoassays and new technologies. They have the important mission to design and develop the next generation of medical diagnostic tests to help health care providers make the best decisions for their patients. Our team of R&D scientists works closely with Regulatory, Marketing and Manufacturing functions to make the right test to meet the medical need. As an R&D Intern you will learn how we combine elements of immunology and protein chemistry with our automated robotic testing instrumentation to produce fast and reliable results for a range of medical testing decisions.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications



  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemisty, Chemistry, Cell Biology, Biology, or similar
  • Currently enrolled in a University or College Program that is accredited. Recent graduates may be considered.
  • Must be enrolled in or have completed courses related to field of interest.
  • Required Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Attention to Detail, Being A Team Player and Operating with Professionalism.
  • Preffered Skils:

    Coursework in Biochemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry. Skills: experience or understanding of HPLC, LC-MS/MS, gel electrophoresis, organic synthesis, and UV-Vis. Coursework and skills listed are preferred but not required.

What we offer: Salary Range
The hourly posting for this position is$20.00 Hourly.The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. Beyond base salary, Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being. We are proud to offer a comprehensive plan of health benefits, retirement and financial wellbeing, time off programs, wellbeing support and perks. Benefits may vary by role, country, region, union status, and other employment status factors. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
