SUMMARY Our Learning & Development team has built a strong, integrated system of tools, programs, and learning experiences aligned with Mortenson's culture and business strategy. This learning ecosystem is designed to accelerate growth and meet the evolving needs of our customers and internal teams. We are now looking for a Learning & Development Specialist - Facilitator to bring this system to life. In this next phase of our journey, you will deliver impactful learning programs, consult with business partners, and play a key role in evolving how we develop talent at Mortenson. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of learning and development and strengthen our enterprise-wide talent ecosystem. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitation & Delivery
- Lead in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and onboarding retreats for Project Managers, Superintendents, and new team members, delivering content with enthusiasm, credibility, and strong presence.
- Serve as a primary facilitator for enterprise-wide onboarding programs for new team members and new leaders, as well as targeted skill-building sessions for various roles such as Project Managers and Superintendents.
- Adapt facilitation techniques to resonate with individuals at various stages, from those just joining the company to seasoned professionals stepping into leadership roles.
- Consultation & Collaboration
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, business leaders, participants and their supervisors, and other internal stakeholders regarding programming.
- Support organization-wide initiatives such as onboarding, culture transformation, engagement, and team performance specifically through team member programming.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive adoption and maximize the impact of skills and leadership development programs for these key groups.
- Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Leverage data and participant insights to support enhancements and iterate on offerings, ensuring relevance and impact.
- Stay informed of best practices in project management, construction leadership, onboarding, and professional development to introduce innovative ideas and approaches to the team.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in learning & development, training, or meeting facilitation.
- Proven communication and facilitations skills with experience engaging audiences at mulitple leadership levels
- Strong consulting skills and the ability to build trust and influence across a complex organization.
- Coordinate with external training vendors and internal business leader facilitators, coaches, and SMEs.
- Stay current on L&D trends and best practices, and regulatory requirements.

The base pay range for this role is $63,300 - $85,500. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. #LI-PM1 #LI-onsite Please make note:
