Overview:
The Regional Relationship Manager implements and executes programs and activities that drive the regional strategy and support the specific goals of the region in collaboration with each functional department including Admissions, Strategic Partnerships, Academics / Clinicals and Career Development. Additionally, building and maintaining relationships with clinical partners and employers, members of the community and other community organizations; collaborating and proactively communicating updates with functional departments.

Schedule will generally follow standard Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00. Weekend and evening work may be needed to meet objectives of the role.
There will be overnight travel as needed to other campuses in the Region and home office. Travel will be approximately 50%.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, public relations, event planning or a related field
  • At least two years of work experience in sales, networking, account management, public relations or a related field
  • Courses in advertising, business administration, public affairs, public speaking, and creative and technical writing can also be helpful
  • Event planning experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related writing and presentation software


Preferred:



  • Health care & community partnership experience -Experience working with health care providers, nursing or allied health organizations, or community nonprofits in roles focused on partnership development and external engagement.
  • Higher education or workforce development knowledge -Familiarity with admissions, clinical partnerships, employer engagement, or career development within higher education or workforce systems.
  • Regional relationship building & event leadership -Demonstrated success leading community outreach, representing an organization at events, and building relationships across multiple locations or diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Market insight & strategic outreach planning - Ability to analyze local market trends, identify partnership opportunities, and execute outreach that increases brand presence and supports enrollment and clinical placement goals.
  • Communication & stakeholder influence - Strong public speaking, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with comfort engaging leaders across community organizations, health care entities, and employer groups.


Compensation is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The salary range for this position is $61,297 to $82,931.

Responsibilities:



  • Organize community outreach programs and coordinate special events that enhance the brand and reputation of Herzing University
  • Draft and distribute various communications to both internal and external stakeholders that promote the activities hosted by the University as well as community events we are attending or sponsoring
  • Attend relevant events and activities to represent the University and build strong relationships with key community organizations and members
  • Respond to inquiries from community members and other interested parties - when needed, recruit a knowledgeable spokesperson or information source to assist
  • Build cross-functional relationships within each campus, across the region and throughout the University; collaborate and communicate with partner functions on a continuous basis
  • Coordinate with our marketing department and social media managers to promote relevant campus, and community, events that enhance awareness and the brand of our University
  • Collaborate with campus leadership team to assist with professional development opportunities for staff and faculty
  • Collaborate with other regional relationship managers to develop standard processes across the system for building and maintaining relationships with clinical partners, employers and community organizations.
  • Engage and regularly communicate (formal and informally) with functional departments to support their specific goals and support achieving the strategic objectives of the region

    • Admission

      • Work with Directors of Admissions to develop, promote and manage community events that enhance campus opportunities to generate student inquiries and referrals
      • Collaborate with Directors of Admissions to identify and coordinate the participation with community events that align with our external admissions strategy and objectives
      • Partner with Directors of Admissions and our marketing department on regular social media communications that promote awareness, events and activities
      • Collaborate with Directors of Admissions to achieve annual non-marketing enrollment objectives


    • Academics

      • Coordinate with Academic Deans and nursing leadership to identify and help develop new clinical partnerships that support the current and future clinical education needs of each campus
      • Collaborate with Academic Deans and nursing leadership to identify programs, events and activities that support our key clinical partners and strengthen these relationships


    • Strategic Partnerships

      • Collaborate with Workforce Acct Managers (WAMs) to identify and coordinate participation in programs, events and activities with current strategic partners
      • Coordinate with local WAM's to support the partnership strategy and assist in nurturing relationships with local employers and associations
      • Consistently communicate with WAM's regarding new clinical partner acquisitions and opportunities for strategic partnership


    • Career Development

      • Connect with Career Development coaches to engage local employers and help identify employment opportunities that align with our degree offerings
      • Reach out to local employers and non-profit organizations to host and attend career fairs that benefit our graduates, the community and positively enhance the reputation of our University
      • Work collaboratively with Career Development and Alumni Association to increase alumni engagement and help drive reenrollment activity and referral generation
