ADMAT Manager Supply Chain (ADMAT Site Mgr Demand & Supply)

Huntsman is seeking an ADMAT Manager Supply Chain supporting the Advanced Materials (ADMAT) Division located at the McIntosh Site. This position will report to Regional Supply Chain.

Job Scope

The Site DSM Manager will lead the Demand & Supply function for the McIntosh site, driving high performance in Schedule Adherence, OTIF, and Demand & Supply balance that most profits the site and ADMAT division.

This role generates an agreed Production Plan in full alignment with Regional Supply Chain and Site Operations teams and strives for continuous improvement in the site demand & supply planning function. The position reports to Regional Supply Chain with strong indirect reporting to the McIntosh Site Director and is a member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT).

In summary, as the ADMAT Site Mgr Demand & Supply, you will:
  • Lead the Site Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP).

  • Capture, analyze, anticipate, communicate, and lead resolution of issues impacting customers, costs, production, or purchasing at site level (mid- to long-term horizon).

  • Consolidate S&OP reports and escalations for regional review and supply chain management.

  • Analyze demand fluctuations and propose mitigation alternatives to reduce business risk.

  • Ensure accuracy of SAP system parameters and transactions (Safety Stock, Re-Order Point, EOQ, Lead Time, etc.) per approved MOC.

  • Set priorities aligned with customer needs and business strategy, ensuring Schedule Adherence targets are met.

  • Guide and manage production scheduling activities.

  • Ensure safe, timely, and efficient shipping from McIntosh to distribution centers and customers.

  • Coordinate and prioritize execution of MTS, MTO, and ATO demand in the short-term horizon.

  • Balance demand requirements with machine and labor capabilities.

  • Define and validate production plans; follow up on deviations and conduct RCA with corrective actions.

  • Define raw material and intermediate requirements and assess inventory impacts.

  • Lead, develop, and manage the Demand & Supply team, including resource allocation, succession planning, performance management, and development plans.

  • Ensure compliance with EHS and regulatory requirements, including potential involvement with RCRA-regulated materials.

  • Lead and sponsor planning-related projects and actively participate in site and regional initiatives.

  • Maintain proactive and transparent communication with Site and Supply Chain leadership.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

Education required:

  • BS degree in a related field with significant equivalent previous work experience.

Experience required:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.

  • At least 5 years of exposure in planning operations.

  • Experience within chemical manufacturing.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong SAP knowledge including MD04, CM25, and MB51 modules.

  • Solid understanding of planning concepts: S&OP, RCCP, APO, MRP, MTO, MTS.

  • High proficiency in SAP, Excel, Access, and other major IT tools.

  • Project management and process-oriented mindset.

  • Strong focus on data and metrics.

  • Proven understanding of day-to-day business activities, reporting, and operations.

  • Ability to interact effectively with operators and packagers on the production floor.

Skills and Knowledge
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, verbally and in writing.

  • Analytical thinking and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications (a plus to have)
  • MBA.

  • Chemical Engineering background.

  • Continuous Improvement skills (Lean, Six Sigma).

  • APICS CPIM certification (Certified in Production & Inventory Management).

  • Knowledge of McIntosh Site operations, Americas Supply Chain operations, and products.
