The University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) is seeking a Research Maintenance Technician. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for MURR facility support. This role will provide support to lab personnel and will assist in competing lab and facility maintenance. This position will also support project specific activities. The position will complete personnel requests of office moves, furniture installation and any other miscellaneous requests. Key Duties Performed by This Position Will Include The primary purpose of the position is to provide support to the personnel and the facility by supporting lab and facility maintenance activities as well as project-specific tasks. The position will complete personnel requests for office moves, furniture installation, and any other miscellaneous requests. * Cleaning up construction waste from projects. Successful candidates will be persuasive communicators with exceptional organizational and time management skills. They must demonstrate the following durable skills: leadership, character, collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, mindfulness, growth mindset, and fortitude. Additionally, customer service, confidentiality, integrity, and a commitment to university values in their work. Must be available for reliable and consistent onsite work. Shift
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
