As an Accounting and Finance Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work with these amazing people in critical areas like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FP&A, Credit Risk Management, General Accounting and more. At RXO, our talented financial leaders will help you learn, grow, and gain valuable experience, setting you on the path to a successful and rewarding career. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Engage and communicate effectively with other professionals throughout the organization
- Participate in team meetings and projects
- Act a key contributor to projects that impact the business and solve real problems
- Utilize accounting systems such as Oracle - Hyperion Financial Management
- Assist with reporting and analytics
- Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries
- Design and optimize existing forecasting models
What you need to succeed at RXO: At a minimum, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent, and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
It'd be great if you also have:
- Education toward a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
- Solid organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- High energy work style with a solid drive to succeed
- Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; able to consult with team members and management as needed
