As a Human Resources Intern, we'll give you real-world skills and experience to learn more about Human Resources (HR). Join RXO and start building the career you've always dreamed of.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Partner with Human Resources and Learning & Development to support field and company-wide initiatives
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of intern programming, including Intern Takeover Week, graduation events, and community service activities
  • Support onsite and virtual training sessions, including preparation and logistics
  • Help develop and maintain intern program documentation and materials
  • Utilize survey tools to track engagement and collect program feedback
  • Serve as a liaison within the intern community to promote communication and participation
  • Contribute to HR and L&D projects that support the employee and intern experience
  • Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned

What you need to succeed at RXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Education toward a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Energetic work style with a strong drive to succeed
  • Self-motivated instincts with the ability to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment and consult with team members/management as needed
