Description
The CL Outbound Sales Representative II serves members by understanding their financial goals, recommending solutions/options that best fit their needs, cross-selling and making referrals when appropriate through online tracking and CRM systems. The Representative also provides members with product and service education as appropriate.
Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:
Job Duties:
  • Determine member immediate needs and anticipate future needs by offering solutions through outbound calling efforts, identifying the most relevant products and services
  • Provide the highest quality of service to all members; promptly address member concerns and/or escalate to leadership when appropriate
  • Incorporate campaigns and lead outbound calling efforts via internal referral and lead sources
  • Track all outbound efforts in CRM system and leverage CRM to create referrals to business partners as appropriate
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all current credit union products and services
  • Actively participate in programs and procedures that drive sales
  • Self source opportunities by building a sustainable book of business; create follow up for future relationship deepening opportunities; seek referrals from new and existing members
  • Partner with other lines of business in sales and service activities
  • Quickly and accurately process routine financial transactions for members
  • Participate in department projects or initiatives, as required
  • May handle escalated member calls, as required
Essential Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the financial services industry in a sales capacity, offering retail banking products such as deposit products, consumer loans, etc.
  • Ability to manage a sales funnel/book of business to meet and exceed individual sales goals
  • Ability to operate as a self-starter who is highly organized and works well independently
  • Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences
  • Excellent listening skills with ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns and overcome objections
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures including SCRA, Truth in Lending, Reg B, FCRA and MLA preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma; Associate's degree preferred
Location : Hillsboro Corporate Office - Hillsboro, OR 97124
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR :$22.50 to 26.25 + quarterly incentive pay
