Job Description:

Crowe is seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead (Release Train Engineer) to play a pivotal leadership role within our Product Engineering organization. This is a high impact role accountable for optimizing the flow of value across our Insight Audit program, enabling highperforming, distributed Agile teams to deliver highquality, scalable software solutions aligned to business outcomes.

In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and business leaders to translate strategy into executable roadmaps, ensure predictable delivery, remove impediments to flow, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and elevate how Agile delivery is practiced at scale. You will serve as a trusted advisor, coach, and change leader helping teams deliver meaningful outcomes through modern, data driven, and AI-enabled delivery practices.

Success in this role is measured by delivery predictability, flow efficiency, quality outcomes, and the program's ability to consistently achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Program Execution & Value Delivery

  • Own and optimize end-to-end delivery for one or more scaled Agile programs, ensuring predictable outcomes and continuous flow of value.
  • Translate strategic priorities into integrated, executable roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
  • Enable teams to achieve Program Increment (PI) objectives with predictable, high-quality delivery.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and business leaders to balance demand, capacity,and investment decisions to optimize value delivery and delivery predictability.

Program Increment Planning & Cadence

  • Lead and facilitate Program Increment Planning events, ensuring readiness across vision, backlogs, business value, dependencies, and logistics.
  • Own PIlevel communications, clearly articulating objectives, business value, delivery metrics, risks and achieved outcomes.

Leadership, Coaching & Change Enablement

  • Serve as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, Product Owners, Product Managers, and organizational leaders.
  • Drive adoption and maturity of AgileLean principles, practices, and mindsets to maximize the delivery of customer value.
  • Function as a change agent, influencing and leading organizational transformation through coaching, facilitation, training, and process optimization.

Transparency, Metrics & Executive Communication

  • Provide transparency into program health, progress, flow efficiency, quality outcomes,risks, and cross-team dependencies using meaningful, outcome-focused metrics.
  • Lead executive-level reviews covering roadmap status, delivery metrics, PI readiness, and achieved outcomes.

Risk, Dependency & Governance Management

  • Proactively identify, manage, and drive resolution of programlevel risks, impediments, and crossteam dependencies.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and leadership stakeholders to remove obstacles and ensure alignment.
  • Ensure appropriate program governance through oversight of required delivery artifacts and documentation (e.g., program initiation materials, change requests, and closures) in alignment with organizational standards.

AIEnabled Delivery & Continuous Improvement

  • Leverage AIenabled features within Agile lifecycle and delivery tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or similar platforms) to enhance planning accuracy, dependency visibility, forecasting, and delivery insights.
  • Utilize data and AIassisted analytics to identify trends, predict risks, and support continuous improvement at the program level.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in Agile delivery, program management, or related leadership roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within a scaled Agile program or multi-team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AgileLean principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Agile or Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, PMIACP); scaling Agile certification is strongly preferred (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe Program Consultant, RTE).
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices, including CI/CD, TDD, BDD, and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools for backlog, program, and delivery management.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $96,500.00 - $229,500.00 per year.
