The Role

At QuidelOrtho, we're advancing the power of diagnostics for a healthier future for all. Join our mission as our next Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Systems within our Global FP&A team. The Global Finance team drives organizational alignment and change management by harmonizing processes, optimizing systems, and improving reporting to provide transparency and visibility into current and expected future financial results.

This role is a highly technical Finance Systems position with primary ownership of the OneStream platform. The individual will serve as the OneStream technical subject matter expert, responsible for system administration, development, configuration, integrations, reporting architecture, and governance. This role ensures the platform supports financial planning, reporting, and close processes while maintaining system performance, scalability, and data integrity.

This position is remote eligible.

The Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical administration and ownership of OneStream
  • Review, maintain, and optimize Data Management processes, Connectors, and integration workflows.
  • Review, develop, and maintain: Business rules, finance rules, parser rules and transformation rules
  • Develop and modify OneStream configurations to support evolving global finance requirements.
  • Design, develop, and enhance: Dashboards, Cube Views and Data Forms
  • Standard and ad hoc financial reports
  • Utilize Visual Basic (VB.NET) scripting within OneStream to build and troubleshoot technical solutions.
  • Manage metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, and master data governance.
  • Administer workflow configurations, user security roles, and data access controls.
  • Support environment migrations, release management, and system upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot system logic, rule execution errors, and integration issues.
  • Validate and reconcile financial data between OneStream and source systems to ensure month-end close and forecast accuracy.
  • Support new implementations, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in the full system development life cycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide user support, technical guidance, and training across finance workstreams.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual

Required:

  • This position is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on OneStream technical experience.
  • Prior experience with OneStream as a power user of planning and management reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be customer-focused and demonstrate strong written and verbal skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • "Can-Do" attitude and ability to communicate and partner with associates at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% and potentially internationally

Preferred:

  • SAP ERP systems (preferably some S/4 HANA exposure) experience
    and comfortable accessing data from related data warehouse
    technologies, preferred

The Work Environment

No strenuous physical activity, though occasional light lifting of files and related materials is required. 30% of time in meetings, working with team, or talking on the phone, 70% of the time at the desk on computer, doing analytical work. Flexibility to support global teams. Minimal travel required. Travel includes airplane, automobile travel and overnight hotel.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 and is bonus eligible. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time), and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
