ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Performs maintenance work and diagnostic testing on structural systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical
  • Repairs existing structures according to work orders or verbal instructions; determine materials, equipment, tool requirements needed to complete the task
  • Performs basic plumbing such as repairing of existing pipe lines, installation of plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters
  • Performs basic electrical work such as replacing faulty switches, sockets breakers. Installing new conduit, wiring and electrical machinery
  • Responsible for preventative maintenance program


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:



  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Ability to read diagrams and designs
  • Able to operate small power tools, other hand tools, computerized and high-pressure equipment
  • Ability to operator a fork lift
