Overview

Microsoft's Consumer Marketing Organization's Social Marketing team is revolutionizing the art of storytelling in the age of AI. We are seeking a creator partnership professional to discover and build key relationships with rising stars that connect them to the right moments, delivering authentic content, efficient execution, and breakthrough results. As Sr. Creator Partnerships Manager, you'll discover emerging talent, building high impact relationships, activating creators across YouTube, Snap, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.

This role focuses on identifying rising creators who are authentic, innovative, and deeply passionate about our products and brands. You'll codevelop creative concepts with creators and partner with Strategy, Creative, Integrated Marketing, and Production teams to shape and execute creator-led campaigns, experiences, and content. This candidate is in tune with the creator economy across fashion, beauty, tech, entertainment, and gaming, understands how culture moves on social platforms, and has experience negotiating talent deals that are mutually beneficial. This individual will partner closely with external creator managers and agencies, and with internal Legal, Finance, Operations, Tools, and social teams to bring creator activations to life at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Identifyrising and established creators across North America and other markets who authentically align with our brands, audience priorities, and cultural moments.
  • Build and maintainlong termrelationships with creators, managers, talent agencies, and production partners.
  • Maintain a structured approach to evaluating creator fit, including relevance, audience quality, platform strength, creative identity, and brand affinity.
  • Develop a robustcreatorpipeline spanning lifestyle,fashion,gaming, tech, family, entertainment, and niche communities.
  • Lead creative strategy for creator-driven campaigns from brief to execution, partnering with internal creative, strategy, and production teams.
  • Conceptcontent ideas with creators to ensure innovation, authenticity, andplatform firstcreative thinking.
  • Guide creators to produce social-native work that elevates brand storytelling and performs across key channels.
  • Oversee all aspects of creator activations including briefing, contracting, content reviews, and performance tracking.
  • Manage execution across tentpole moments, product launches, live experiences, and always-on creator programs.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and internal tools teams to ensure smooth onboarding, contracting, and compliance.
  • Work closely with talent agencies and creator reps to negotiate fair, transparent, and mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Manage budgets, partner compensation, usage rights, and deliverables with clarity and precision.
  • Partner with Social, Integrated Marketing, Creative Studio, Research, Public Relations (PR), and Media to bring unified creator strategies to life.
  • Collaborate with analytics and insights teams to measure creator performance, impact, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting to communicate performance and insights to stakeholders.
  • Champion creator-first thinking across internal teams, helping the organization stay current with platform changes, creator culture, and emerging talent.
  • Stay informed oncreatoreconomy developments to ensure approachesremainmodern, competitive, and culturally relevant.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years experience in creator marketing, influencer programs, creator partnerships, social media, or related work experience
    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years experience in creator marketing, influencer programs, creator partnerships, social media, or related work experience, or related experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years experience in creator marketing, influencer programs, creator partnerships, social media, or related work experience or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience working directly with creators, creator managers, talent agencies, or influencer programs.
  • Experience developing and executingcreator ledmarketing strategies.
  • Experience with social media platforms and platform-native storytelling.
  • Experience managing budgets and negotiating talent contracts.
  • Experience collaboratingcross functionallyin a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience in creator culture, emerging platforms, and digital trends.

Integrated Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
