Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a Finishing Production Supervisor to lead and develop our finishing team. This role is responsible not only for day-to-day production execution, but for building a high-performing culture, holding team members accountable to standards, and ensuring consistent operational excellence across the finishing department.

Your Shift 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide clear daily direction and leadership to the finishing team, ensuring all staff understand expectations, priorities, and performance standards

  • Hold team members accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards through consistent coaching and follow-up

  • Ensure staffing levels meet operational requirements for all daily production needs

  • Provide end-of-shift updates on production progress, issues, and upcoming needs

  • Report all issues and delays directly to the Production Manager and assigned CSR, both verbally and through email

  • Maintain Production TOS Boards, including audit schedules, cleaning schedules, monthly A4 documentation, and up-to-date key metrics

  • Ensure all production areas are organized, clean, and audit-ready at the end of each shift

  • Participate in afternoon production meetings and clearly represent the status of the finishing department

  • Review upcoming projects and proactively communicate risks, constraints, and necessary actions

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify waste, improve processes, and contribute ideas

You Must Have

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in a production environment, including coaching, performance management, and accountability practices

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply written instructions from work orders, safety regulations, and operating procedures

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly relay expectations and feedback

  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals

  • Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to execute written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions

  • Digital print experience

  • Understanding of color substrate

Requirements Within This Position

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position

  • Frequently required to move throughout the facility

  • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 25+ pounds

  • Ability to observe and assess quality standards in a production environment

We Would Also Prefer

  • Printing industry experience

  • 3+ years leadership experience
