Candidate must be open to working any shift (Day or Evening, 10hr shifts) with occasional overtime.

Job Description:

Hygromedia - now part of Munters - is a leading provider of desiccant dehumidification and energy recovery products, mainly applied in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Hygromedia products are integral components for many industries, including lithium-ion battery production, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and aerospace.

We're looking for a Production Associate to join our growing team at our Baton Rouge, LA facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Set up, load and operate equipment

  • Maintain and clean machines before and after shift

  • Ensure raw materials are ready and available

  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures

  • Troubleshoot equipment and make machine adjustments as required to maintain quality standards and process conditions.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain ISO - 9001 Standards

  • Perform all duties in a safe manner; support all safety and environmental rules and environmental initiatives.

  • Participate in Lean initiatives to provide ongoing continuous improvement ideas for products, process, and procedures

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • 2 Years' Experience Operating Industrial Equipment

  • Experience operating equipment

  • Experience with operating hand held tools

  • Self-starter, motivated, team work spirit, organized, pro-active, confident and persistent in meeting goals.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Heavy (Lifting 75 lbs. Frequently & Climbing).

  • Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach.

  • Visual and aural acuity

  • Listening
