The Credit Manager will assist our Management Team with oversight of the credit and collection process. Duties will include evaluating and making decisions regarding the issuance and extension of credit, calling on past due accounts, preparing and reviewing credit applications, managing credit files, maintaining aging, tracking daily income to accounts, processing billing adjustments, preparing waivers, and other duties as assigned.

This role will collaborate closely with Operations and Legal teams to resolve credit concerns, ensure compliance with lien and construction laws, and mitigate risk. The Credit Manager will implement and monitor strategies to maintain strong collection performance and excellent aging standards while supporting division growth.

Minimum Qualifications

One to three years of collections, credit, accounts receivable, or related field. Must have knowledge of Montana and Wyoming lien and construction law. Working knowledge of surrounding state lien and construction laws preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Familiarity with JD Edwards accounting system a plus.

Additional Requirements

Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in credit decision making. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to collaborate cross functionally with Operations and Legal teams to resolve complex account issues. Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that improve collections performance and maintain healthy aging.

Speed, accuracy, efficiency, reliability, and good attendance required. Must be able to work in a confidential environment, meet deadlines, prioritize work, be flexible to changing priorities, and work well under pressure in a variety of environments. Need a positive attitude, the ability to work well with others, and deal with the public in a professional manner. Travel may be required.
