This position is hybrid with regular requirements to work onsite.
The Technical Team Lead's role is to lead the technical work of the data center services team. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of key aspects of IT infrastructure and systems and to align technology vision with business strategy by integrating company processes with the appropriate technologies. This role is to supervise and ensure the efficient operation of the company's data center, servers, and related systems. This includes: ensuring efficient and effective IT operations, mentoring data center services staff and leading initiatives to monitor and diagnose systems and hardware problems. With an emphasis on the efficient operation of key IT systems and supporting functionality such as client delivery, interoperability, printing, content management and web services. The Technical Team Lead will work closely with the IT leadership staff and decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions related to the data center team. Work is performed under the general guidance, direction, and supervision of the IT Manager.
JOB SPECIFIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related filed; or equivalent combination of education and business experience required.
- Minimum of two (2) years to three (3) years of experience with installing and upgrading hardware and software; analyzing, testing and troubleshooting equipment and applications; and correcting hardware and software problems.
- Demonstrated progressive leadership experience providing support and guidance to a technical support team is highly desirable.
- Minimum of two (2) years to three (3) years of experience with administration, diagnosis, repair and configuration of servers such as Exchange, Citrix, IIS, and Epic servers.
- Minimum of two (2) years to three (3) years of experience working with the following software: Outlook, Visio, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems such as Microsoft Server, UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft XP is preferred.
- Experience working with Epic products and solutions is preferred. Knowledge of or ability to learn Epic workstation management tools required.
- The following certifications are preferred: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA). As a condition of employment, incumbent may be expected to obtain various certificates within a reasonable period.
- Experience preferred maintaining secure network environments including virus protection, and monitoring usage to ensure data integrity.
- Proficiency in Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Excellent organizational and problem- solving skills required.
- Proven project leadership skills for medium to large sized projects including providing status updates to senior management levels.
- Ability to remain positive in spite of setbacks or frustrations.
- Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities for sustainable and long-term improvement for the department, division, and enterprise.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and prioritize tasks based on changing needs of organization. Proven ability to anticipate and react to potential roadblocks within department and division areas of responsibility.

- Ability to look at situations from multiple perspectives and actively listen to gain mutual understanding of problem or situation.
- Ability to maintain patient and organizational confidentiality. Knowledge of or ability to learn HIPAA requirements.
- Ability to be a team player in a team-oriented environment is required.
- Ability to work extra and/or flexible hours including occasional weekends required. Ability to provide on-call technical support.
- Possession of a valid Wisconsin driver license and/or ability to travel to various work sites, as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and reach on a regular basis required.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis required.
- Ability to work with fingers for various manipulation activities (including keyboard) on a regular basis required.
- Visual acuity for inspection and close assembly activities required.
