General Summary: The Pharmacy Informatics Specialist:



  • responsible for oversight and integrity of the computer systems and software applications utilized to support pharmacy operations and services (includes pharmacy system and automated dispensing and compounding systems);
  • acts as the pharmacy ad hoc "Hospital Application Coordinator (HAC)" for the pharmacy system;
  • responsible for planning, implementation and oversight of all new installations, interface upgrades and user training;
  • responsible for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of systems and associated equipment;
  • responsible for maintaining applications' tables and files and report-writing functions.



Minimum Education & Experience Required:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Education and Training or related fields, or equivalent experience required.
  • Five years general hospital pharmacy experience with a minimum of 2 years of pharmacy/hospital computer systems which includes automated medication dispensing systems.
  • Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification


Shift: Full-Time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Salary Range: Minimum 25.23/hour - Maximum 44.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
