Data Center Technician Position Overview As a Data Center Technician, you will support server rack powerup operations within data center environments. This role is ideal for individuals with basic to intermediate electrical skills and a general understanding of electrical systems and operations. You will be expected to work independently when appropriate while also following detailed instructions and established procedures. Key Responsibilities * Support server rack powerup operations across one or more data center locations * Follow all safety standards and procedures while performing work * Adapt to changing schedules based on site needs, including nights and weekends * Work shifts of up to 12 hours, which may rotate on a predefined schedule * Support multiple sites as required Physical & Work Environment Requirements * Walk job sites with uneven terrain and maintain balance while performing tasks * Perform work on ladders and stairs * Regularly lift and/or move up to 39 pounds unassisted; participate in team lifts for items over 40 pounds * Regularly perform physical activities including walking, standing, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and working above shoulder height * Use hands and fingers to handle tools, equipment, and materials Qualifications 1+ year of electrical experience Preferred Qualifications Technical training (Military or Trade School), or Experience or education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of South Bend, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
