We're looking for an experienced ServiceNow Architect to play a key role on our ServiceNow Application Team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB)-a foundational component of how we track, model, and manage IT assets and services across the enterprise. This is a strategic, handson architecture role where you'll influence data structures, service mapping, integrations, and ITIL-based processes that power everything from incident management to automation and governance. You'll work across teams including ServiceNow, infrastructure, security, cloud, and operations. You influence platform maturity across ITSM, Discovery, SPM, ITOM, and more. You work with a forward-thinking team that values expertise, collaboration, and continuous improvement. *Role Summary* As the ServiceNow Architect, you will design, build, and manage the CMDB framework and champion data quality across the ServiceNow ecosystem. You'll ensure that configuration items (CIs), relationships, and service mappings are accurate, wellstructured, and aligned to ITIL and industry best practices. Your expertise will help streamline operations, improve visibility, and enable automation across the enterprise. *Core Responsibilities* *CMDB Architecture & Design* * Architect and maintain the CMDB, including CI class models, relationships, and dependencies * Drive data quality, governance, and lifecycle management standards * Ensure alignment with ITIL guidelines and enterprise service models *ServiceNow Platform Engineering* * Lead design and implementation efforts across ServiceNow ITSM and related modules * Work with crossfunctional teams to integrate CMDB with infrastructure, cloud, and operational systems * Guide data modeling, schema design, and relationship mapping for new services *Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement* * Partner with IT, application owners, infrastructure, and security teams * Translate technical requirements into clear architecture and implementation plans * Support platform roadmap planning and modernization initiatives *Platform Optimization & Best Practices* * Identify and solve data integrity issues * Enhance automation, discovery, and operational insights * Recommend improvements that increase accuracy, visibility, and reliability across the CMDB *Required Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field * 8+ years working with ServiceNow or comparable enterprise data platforms (AD, Azure, databases, etc.) * Strong understanding of ITIL processes * Proficiency in data modeling, CI relationships, and relational databases * Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problemsolving skills * Strong communication and collaboration abilities * ServiceNow or ITIL certifications are a plus *Preferred Experience* * Experience with the following ServiceNow modules is a plus: * SPM, MCO, CSM, ITSM, WSD, HRSD, ITOM Visibility, Discovery * Experience with platform integrations and data ingestion * Familiarity with enterprise data governance and CMDB best practices *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Westerville, OH. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $95.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
