Overview TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Scheduling Coordinator to join the team in Frankfort, KY. This team plays a critical role in ensuring timely delivery of IT support services across the entire state - approximately 32,000 endpoints. While this role is not a hands-on technical position, experience with desktop support, such as installing, troubleshooting, and repairing Windows-based systems, is a plus. Key Responsibilities * Dispatch and route technicians and work orders based on priority, location, and resource availability. * Serve as the central communication point between users, field technicians, and management. * Ensure accurate and timely documentation of service requests, updates, and resolutions. * Adhere to established processes and procedures to maintain service consistency. * Manage multiple incoming requests, prioritize workload, and maintain situational awareness. * Remain calm and professional in fastpaced or stressful situations. * Deliver excellent customer service. Required Skills & Qualifications * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Proven ability to follow through on tasks and ensure timely completion. * Ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume support environment. * Comfortable adhering to structured processes and documenting actions accurately. * Ability to maintain composure and solve problems in challenging situations. Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience in desktop support or IT service environments. * Familiarity with basic Windows operating system installation, troubleshooting, or repair. * Experience working with ticketing or work order management systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
