Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: IPR - Inst for Policy Res The Business Coordinator at the Institute for Policy Research is primarily focused on Human Resources tasks including faculty academic year and summer salaries; staff hiring, promotion, and termination; and confirming graduate and undergraduate payroll tasks to be carried out by other staff. The coordinator would also assist in pre-award and post-award tasks related to salary planning and effort reporting. Administers operational, financial, & business functions in support of the area/unit's mission & in coordination with central offices such as HR, Budget, Facilities, IT, & Provost. Implements existing policy & ensures the effective, compliant, & efficient completion of daily administrative operations. May represent business area on internal &/or external administrative affairs by exchanging information. Please note: Supervisor provides objectives, deadlines & specific instructions only for new, difficult, &/or unusual work. Work is reviewed upon completion & only occasionally to verify technical accuracy & compliance with practice, policy, & procedures. Target hiring range for this position will be between $56,000-$62,000 per year.
