Basic Function

HF Sinclair is seeking a Tagetik Enterprise Performance Manage Analyst based in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will support and optimize the company's Tagetik application and reporting environment, partnering with key business stakeholders to enhance financial processes, ensure data integrity, and drive best practices across planning, consolidation, and reporting.

Job Duties

  • Serves as a resource for Tagetik within the Center of Excellence, ensuring alignment with corporate financial planning and reporting standards.
  • Provides functional support for Tagetik modules, including configuration, workflow management, and enhancement requests from finance and business users.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to enable and improve financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting.
  • Manages integration points between Tagetik and source systems (ERP, data warehouses, and other financial applications).
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to data loads, calculations, and reporting within Tagetik.
  • Designs and maintains reports, dashboards, and templates to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Performs quality assurance, unit testing, and integration testing for new configurations, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Supports governance and compliance requirements, including SOX and internal control standards, through proper documentation and change management.
  • Facilitates workshops, training sessions, and on-boarding presentations for end-users to promote adoption and best practices.
  • Delivers timely and accurate system solutions to business challenges while adhering to corporate IT governance and data security standards.
  • Participates in special projects and lead initiatives to enhance Tagetik capabilities and process efficiency.
  • Supports critical financial processes and ensures data integrity, contributing to accurate reporting and informed decision-making.



Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their manager, as determined from timeto time are their sole and complete discretion.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) experience, with a strong focus on financial planning, consolidation, and reporting systems. Hands-on experience with Tagetik or similar EPM platforms is required.



Preferred Experience


Experience implementing or supporting Tagetik in a Center of Excellence or corporate finance environment.


Oil & Gas industry experience (Midstream/Pipeline & Downstream/Refining). Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and integration with EPM tools.

Education Level

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).



Preferred Educational Level


Advanced Degree or professional certifications (FP&A, CPA, CMA or CFA) preferred.


Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting).
  • Ability to configure and optimize Tagetik workflows, templates, and reporting structures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with data integration, master data governance, and compliance requirements (SOX, audit readiness).
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Communicates effectively with finance teams, IT, and management on requirements, project status, and issue resolution.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

May act as a project lead or functional lead on Tagetik implementation and optimization initiatives.

Work Conditions

Office based with up to 25% travel by land or air is required. Work conditions may require working petroleum refinery environment, warehouse and plant environments occasionally. Subject to varying road and weather conditions. Occasional long hours, as well as nights and weekends as needed.
