The Plant Manager leads the overall strategic, tactical, and financial operations of a chemical process manufacturing facility of varying size, complexity, and volume by:

Chemical Process Expertise - Strong technical knowledge of chemical processes and production operations within a plant environment Manufacturing Process Knowledge - Ability to analyze manufacturing and business processes to drive optimization using continuous improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing practices) Financial and Statistical Knowledge - Ability to interpret and analyze statistical data, operational information, and financial reports; understanding of financial statements, costing methodologies, and cost-benefit analysis Business Acumen - Understanding of the drivers that impact business performance and growth Regulatory Compliance Knowledge - Ability to work within and ensure compliance with applicable local, regional, and national safety, environmental, quality, and financial regulations Employee and Labor Relations - Experience working in both unionized and non-unionized environments; knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, grievance procedures, mediation, and arbitration Computer Skills - Working knowledge of relevant software systems, including SAP, email platforms, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Leadership Skills and CompetenciesTeam and Talent Development - Promotes a team-oriented approach that leverages diverse perspectives, experiences, and capabilities to drive better outcomes; encourages and supports professional development; demonstrates the ability to motivate others toward shared goals Strategic Focus and Agility - Maintains a clear big-picture perspective; anticipates trends and future implications; develops credible strategic plans and breakthrough initiatives Results Orientation - Focuses on achieving measurable outcomes and ensuring organizational activities contribute to bottom-line performance; promotes efficiency and continuous improvement Adaptability and Change Orientation - Adjusts effectively and efficiently to changing business conditions; proactively evaluates the environment and aligns priorities and actions accordingly; comfortable navigating ambiguity Planning and Organizing - Plans, prioritizes, and organizes work effectively to achieve measurable results; defines clear objectives and integrates initiatives smoothly into the organization Coaching - Develops team members by recruiting strong talent, setting clear and measurable expectations, providing constructive feedback, and addressing performance challenges productively Communication and Presentation - Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing; presents ideas concisely and appropriately in formal and informal settings Problem Solving - Applies a structured and solution-oriented approach to complex or challenging situations Managing Diversity and Interpersonal Effectiveness - Builds and maintains effective working relationships with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds, styles, and functional roles at all organizational levels Conflict Resolution - Manages difficult or emotional situations professionally and constructively; contributes to effective workplace conflict resolution Organizational Agility - Understands organizational structure and dynamics to navigate effectively, influence appropriately, and ensure decisions are made at the right level #Onsite #LI-DS1 We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
