Systems Test Engineer Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO Pay From: $100,000 per year MUST: Systems Test Engineer Secret required 5 years required in developing test artifacts (test objectives, system architectures, Data Item Descriptions, defense designs, and certification data packages, etc.) Proven capability to analyze test data, troubleshoot anomalies, and develop thorough imaginative solutions to difficult technical problems. Ability to interface effectively with developers, government personnel, and cross-functional analysis groups throughout test execution. Desired Skills: Preferred Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks Preferred Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program BS Degree with 5+ years' experience or 3+ years' experience and an advanced degree required DUTIES: The System Test Team conducts the planning and analysis of all MDS ground tests and flight tests in which the C2BMC program is a participant. Ground test types include: ;pairwise tests, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Integrated Ground Test (GTI), Distributed Ground Test (GTD), cyber tests, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and pre-flight test HWIL efforts. Flight tests are conducted with pre-determined sensors and shooters. International events are comprised of various ground tests and flight tests. The System Test Engineer is responsible for the planning of all assigned test events, with emphasis on developing and implementing the test artifacts required for each event:- Test objectives- Architectures- Data Item Descriptions- Defense Designs- Sensor Resource Management (SRM) settings- Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) configuration and Forwarding Tables, CDS, TDACS, TRAUT TDACS, Comms Connectivity Matrices, Event Configuration Baseline (ECB) - System Adjustable Parameters (SAPs)/Site-Specific Parameters (SSPs)- BDR and PR applicability- Certification Data Packages The position also provides the following support: Support planning phase reviews and meetings- Support customer boards and meetings- Support Data Management- Interface with developers Support government personnel during event execution phases when requested- Support anomaly resolution and troubleshooting- Support analysis group Support Failure Review Boards (FRBs) Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
