Sourcing Specialist Beaverton, OR 97005 Pay : $38.00 per hour 26-01582 Job Summary The Sourcing Specialist supports factory allocation, sourcing strategy, and product costing activities within an apparel and/or footwear environment. This role partners cross functionally to analyze data, support manufacturing decisions, and drive cost-effective product creation. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, retail math knowledge, and experience within apparel or footwear manufacturing. This position requires collaboration across a matrixed organization and the ability to work both independently and within a team setting. Job Responsibilities Assist with factory allocation, sourcing strategy, and product costing initiatives Analyze data to identify cost efficiencies and support informed decision-making Apply retail math principles to evaluate pricing and margin opportunities Build and maintain Excel models using formulas, pivot tables, vlookups, and basic calculations Partner with cross functional teams to support product creation and manufacturing timelines Develop presentations and summary materials to communicate sourcing insights and recommendations Contribute to collaborative problem solving within a matrixed team environment Job Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sourcing role Knowledge of apparel and/or footwear manufacturing, product creation, and textiles Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and vlookups Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret data and develop solutions Solid understanding of retail math principles Ability to influence stakeholders, collaborate effectively, and build consensus Comfortable working independently and in team-based environments Experience working in a cross functional, matrixed organization preferred Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred Experience creating professional presentations in PowerPoint preferred Prior experience supporting apparel or footwear through a supply chain perspective preferred Education Bachelor's degree required Work Experience At least 3 years of professional experience in sourcing, preferably within apparel or footwear manufacturing
