About the Team

The RFP Center of Excellence team comprises a global collective of expert proposal managers dedicated to supporting the worldwide sales organizations, banking solutions, and capital markets business segments. Their responsibilities include managing the response process to deliver professional, comprehensive, and high-quality responses to RFPs. The team meticulously analyzes the requirements of each RFP, integrates sales and product expertise, and produces FIS-branded documents that enable sales teams to save approximately 54 hours per project on average.

Their efforts enhance sales win opportunities through exemplary project management and effective communication. The RFP CoE team functions on a global scale to provide ongoing support.

About the Position

The RFP Center of Excellence team is seeking a Proposal Manager with experience in both commercial and government proposal management. The successful candidate will oversee the entire proposal process, from initiation to submission, ensuring that strategy, content, and quality are prioritized in every project.

The Proposal Manager will collaborate with the sales team to identify necessary resources and establish schedules for sales deliverables related to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other sales proposals. The PM will supervise and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure that milestones and deliverables are achieved throughout the proposal development process.

Additionally, the PM will develop key sales documents, including cover letters, executive summaries, supplier input, and related materials, compiling them into a customer-ready format. This includes customizing and editing documents for format, grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy. The PM will also conduct quality assurance checks on all proposal sections and validate compliance with client requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will complete a sufficient number of assignments within the designated timeframes as established by management. Furthermore, you will coordinate and manage internal resources throughout the proposal lifecycle to ensure the timely achievement of milestones and deliverables.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive professional experience as a sales professional in a fast-paced, multi-project Financial Services environment.
  • Over 7 years of experience in Proposal Management within the fintech industry (preferred) or similar fields.
  • Strong project management skills to support the RFP process, renewal process, and pricing process.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Experience with the Responsive proposal automation tool.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Experience working with RFP online submission portals.
  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot and prompts.
  • Familiar with government RFPs and knowledge of managing response processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with Sales Executives and SMEs.
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to align with the team's values and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
