As a Security Officer - Access Gate Driver in Winter Garden, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a financial institution location where you will focus on access control, greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and tracking entries using computer or tablet tools. You will remain highly visible, conduct routine patrols when assigned, and communicate clearly to help identify and report security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, supported by a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, issue temporary visitor credentials as required, and maintain access logs and related documentation.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and/or exterior areas, including lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, as permitted by the assignment and site requirements.
• Assist with monitoring alarms, cameras, and/or other access control systems, reporting unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations through required communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
