Works collaboratively with departmental and organizational leadership to manage the daily operations of the department or division, ensuring the smooth delivery of healthcare services and overseeing key administrative functions, including human resources, finance, compliance, facilities, and patient services. Helps to develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization's mission, vision and values. Leads a team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff to achieve the organization's goals.
Essential Functions: - Develops and implements financial practices and procedures in accordance with the overarching financial strategy. - Directs budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis/reporting processes. - Collaborates with cross-functional teams/leaders to deliver actionable financial data for decision-making. - Oversees the preparation of accurate and timely reports. - Establishes internal and external budgetary control systems. - Ensure that financial operations comply with all HRSA and other relevant regulatory requirements. - Develops and manages the team by ensuring that appropriate resources are available for training, provides coaching/guidance to managers and staff, encourages career growth, conducts performance assessments, and is responsible for hiring. disciplinary action and termination when necessary.
