Your responsibilities:

  • Learn to present positive self-image and make good business decisions.
  • Learn to provide timely reports summarizing business activities.
  • Learn costing, manufacturing process control, logistics and purchasing.
  • Attend required training courses including effective presentations and negotiation skills.
  • Learn Parker's Lean Office and Manufacturing and Customer Service Programs.
  • Research assigned materials and manufacturing process.
  • Interact with engineering, accounting, quality, operations and a host of other functional areas.
  • Learn the Network Procurement Process and Parker's WIN Strategy in conjunction with the Strategic Procurement philosophy.

Who we are looking for

  • Must be enrolled in a Supply Chain Management degree program or similar field. Sophomore class standing or higher preferred.
  • Minimum culmulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.
  • Must have intermediate computer skills and be able to understand of electronic processing.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
