JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Entertainment Studios is seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Manager to join its Content Operations division. The Manager, Localization will execute and support global content localization initiatives, overseeing all dubbing and localization activities tied to international distribution deals in alignment with the localization strategy set by leadership.

The Manager, Localization is responsible for managing day-to-day localization operations end-to-end, ensuring that contractual requirements are met, timelines are adhered to, and localized content maintains high creative and technical quality. This is an individual contributor role, with a strong emphasis on tactical execution, vendor management, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence.

Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace for a minimum of four (4) days per week is an essential function of the position. The selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Localization & Dubbing Management

  • Manage the full localization lifecycle from deal confirmation through final delivery and archiving
  • Establish processes to proactively monitor, track, and report progress, enabling clear and effective communication with stakeholders
  • Process purchase orders and invoices across all projects
  • Compare and assess localization vendor bids, demonstrating a strong understanding of cost models, pricing structures, and budget impact

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Source, onboard, and manage relationships with external localization vendors, ensuring technical requirements, workflows, and documentation are clearly communicated and implemented
  • Coordinate the scope of work, schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Review vendor performance and recommend operational improvements as needed

Planning & Quality Control

  • Partner closely with the Distribution team to align localization workflows with deal terms, delivery schedules, and client expectations
  • Manage schedules and deadlines across multiple projects and markets simultaneously
  • Track localization status and provide regular, clear updates to stakeholders
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to monitor localization performance, timelines, and costs, applying data-driven insights to support decision-making and improve outcomes against key performance indicators (KPIs)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 5+ years of experience in content localization, dubbing, international distribution, or related media operations
  • Strong understanding of localization workflows tied to distribution agreements
  • Knowledge of international distribution requirements, delivery specifications, and international content standards
  • Deep understanding of dubbing restrictions across talent, licensed music, and rights management, with proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and lead resolution efforts
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple localization projects simultaneously across competing timelines and stakeholders
  • Exposure to localization technologies, automation tools, or emerging workflows

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-93,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
