Summary
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance and emergencies of site facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant environment. Assists maintenance staff with planning and coordinating repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and facility guidelines.

--Assists with management of facility operations, planning and coordination of maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and emergency response involving in-house staff, vendors and contractors.

-Act as first responder in collaboration with Sr. Manager, Facilities Operations to emergency events that may occur on first, second, third shifts, weekends and holidays.

-Responsible for life safety and infection control reporting documentation (PCRA & MERA) for emergencies, unscheduled and schedules work in collaboration with Sr. Manager, Facilities Operations and Facilities' Leads.

-Assist with Above Ceiling Work Program in collaboration with Sr. Manager and hospital Lead Inspector.

-Assist with Green Program (recycle/repair/dispose) in collaboration with Sr. Facilities Coordinator.

-Assists with facility CMMS activity to ensure work order flow is meeting real time response and moving requests to appropriate applications.

-Maintains records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs associated with work orders to ensure compliance documentation.

- Conducts daily rounds of hospital departments and be proactive to address facility-related needs and resolve issues.

-Participates in facility inspections and audits to ensure a safe and functional environment.

-Assists and participates with Joint Commission regular testing, surveys, inspections, and documentation.

Associate's degree Facilities Management or Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Experience in facilities management or maintenance and Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Proficient knowledge of facility management principles, including maintenance and operations of building systems.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff and contractors.
- Strong people skill and problem-solving skills to address facility issues promptly and effectively.
