As our Senior Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) you will
support our MRI imaging and interventional radiology procedures at the Beach
Imaging and Interventional Center along with affiliated radiology sites. You
will play a key role in patient coordination for MRI services, performs
difficult intravenous (IV) insertions and provide direct procedural support to
Radiologists and Nurse Practitioners during interventional procedures.

It is expected that you will collaborate closely with
providers and imaging technologists to prepare patients for imaging studies,
coordinate care before and after procedures and assist during interventional
radiology cases. Additional responsibilities include screening patients,
assisting with the completion of electronic screening forms and performing
clinical duties to support efficient patient flow, high-quality patient care
and operational needs. You will be required to rotate to all sites staffed by UCLA
Health.

Salary: $36.34 to $47.94 Hourly

Qualifications

  • Active
    California LVN license with Intravenous Therapy and blood withdrawal
    certification - required
  • Phlebotomy Certificate - required
  • BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red
    Cross - required
  • 6 months of LVN experience - required
  • At least 2 years of relevant clinical LVN experience -
    strongly preferred
  • Ability to interpret EKG basic arrhythmias, the
    components of the EKG waveform including PR interval and ST segment.
  • Ability to skillfully administer oral, IM and
    subcutaneous medications
  • Knowledge and ability to set up and assist physician
    with any procedures within ones scope of practice
  • Skill to accurately perform a 12-lead EKG
