In this key position, you will provide strong leadership and day-to-day operational support to the front-end FPG Financial Clearance Unit. This will include direct staff-level oversight for Insurance Verification, Authorization/Referral Management, Pre-Registration/Pre-Service Collections, and the Patient Advocacy Team. You will:



  • Ensure the achievement of performance and quality standards
  • Establish work prioritization for staff
  • Ensure tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate and provide backup coverage for all workflow assignments
  • Coach/mentor team in adherence with FPG guidelines
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation solutions

Salary Range: $78,500 - $163,600/Annually

Qualifications

We're seeking an adaptable, "out-of-the-box" problem solver with:



  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Three years of health care industry work experience in Front-End Revenue Cycle as a leader is highly desired
  • Proficiency in Epic front-end applications such as ADT, Cadence, and Prelude
  • Understanding of physician revenue cycle and leading measures of performance
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with patients, staff, and physicians; give and receive information, clarify policies, and mediate if necessary with patients, physicians, and technologists.
  • Ability to adapt and implement frequently changing procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of UCLA governance principles and managerial best practices
  • Ability to communicate clearly and diplomatically
