Requirements

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the following qualifications:



  • 60 College Credits Required; bachelor's degree Preferred.
  • 3-5 Years Related Experience - Employment Services
  • 2 Years Supervisory/Managerial Experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience with IDD population, preferred.
  • ACRE Certification or CESP Certification upon hire (within 6 months)

This role is based out of our West Chester, PA office and supports Employment Services across Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties.



Earn: $57,000-62,000/Annually (Based on experience and education).



About the Role

The Program Manager plays a key role in the daily operations and oversight of Employment Services within the division. Reporting to the Program Director, this position ensures highquality service delivery, supervises program staff, and manages a caseload of individuals receiving employment supports.



You will oversee employment programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, working closely with employers, staff, and community partners to help participants achieve meaningful, competitive employment.



What You'll Do
Staff Management


  • Supervise and support program staff with clear direction and inperson guidance



  • Lead regular staff meetings to review goals, updates, and challenges



  • Participate in new hire orientation for DSPs



  • Provide training and professional development opportunities



  • Delegate tasks to ensure balanced workloads



  • Address staffing concerns promptly and professionally



  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture




Client Care & Safety


  • Oversee participant intake and assessment



  • Develop and implement individualized service plans



  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed



  • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary



  • Ensure participant safety through regular checkins and followups




Program Operations


  • Coordinate overall care and services for individuals



  • Ensure compliance with all program requirements and regulations



  • Collect, analyze, and report program data and outcomes



  • Manage scheduling and program logistics



  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners



  • Represent Merakey at meetings, events, and community forums



  • Demonstrate initiative and maintain compliance with state, federal, and agency standards
