Position Summary The Associate, Project Manager Continuous Improvement & Project Management Office (CI&PMO)'s focus will be to assist with facilitating initiatives designed to improve company operations (preferably utilizing methodologies of Project Management Professional tools and techniques, and Six Sigma). The Associate Project Manager will also be responsible for identifying current organizational processes and providing recommendations for improvements in coordination with various business process owners. Essential Responsibilities
- Continually and proactively communicate updates on project statuses and issues to CI&PMO Team, via regular communications and status reports
- Assist in managing initiative timelines to meet established milestones
- Assist in managing schedules, resourcing, budgets, assets and overall project organization to ensure the team meets project requirements and expectations
- Act as point of contact for each project on schedule, cost, and scope
- Coordinate inter-team activities and project dependencies to ensure on-time program deliverables
- Assist with the identification and prioritization of opportunities where process redesign/improvement can significantly impact efficiency, compliance, quality, profitability, competitive position and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct process improvement initiatives with process owners which includes: documenting current process to identify pain points and opportunities, performing supporting data analysis, facilitating the design of the process changes, creating future state processes and supporting implementation of the process change
- Communicate well with cross department leadership, sponsors and stakeholders
- Assemble and present assessment results to department and company leadership in conjunction with project team
- Assists with researching and implementing best practices to ensure continuous process improvements across all departments and business units
- Attend and participate in meetings with various business units, taking complete and accurate notes to capture discussion
- Observing real-time processes and conducting time studies in the field at BlueCities or Other Airlines (OALs)
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice based on operational and/or project needs
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a business, engineering, aviation, or other related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
- One (1) year of related work experience
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite especially strong in Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- Data analysis skills
- Must be a team player and work effectively cross-departmentally
- Show a passion to get the job done
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, and complete assignments accurately and timely
- Ability to meet project work milestones established by the larger team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Available for overnight travel (30%)
- Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- Six Sigma Green Belt training and certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- One (1) year of experience as acting project manager on cross-functional initiative
- Prior Airline or related industry experience

- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours, inclusive of weekends and irregular shifts and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $63,350.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
