As a Security Officer - Media Site in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, giving you the chance to cover more ground, respond to activity, and deliver customer service with integrity through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas during patrols, help to deter unauthorized entry, and direct employees, contractors, and/or guests as needed.
• Complete patrol logs and incident documentation, communicate observations to site contacts, and support security-related operations during special events and/or high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
