Job Description




As a Security Officer - Credential Verification in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will greet residents and guests, manage entry points, and verify credentials to support a smooth, welcoming experience. You will monitor activity, document security-related events, and communicate clearly with residents, staff, and local responders as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, authorizations, and/or visitor logs, and directing authorized persons to the appropriate locations.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and common areas using visual observation and available systems, reporting unusual activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting and reporting maintenance concerns and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Security Experience - 1+ Years.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.
  • Guard Card/License - preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
