As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Escort in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct high-visibility patrols, respond to incidents, and support store teams and guests with clear communication and customer service. This post requires Level III Armed Certification and a valid driver's license to perform vehicle patrols and move between areas as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site management and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, common areas, parking lots, loading areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or hazards, complete detailed incident reports, and maintain accurate logs using written and/or electronic systems.
• Control access to restricted areas, perform checks of doors and gates, and support loss prevention and crowd management efforts in a professional, customer-focused manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess Level III Armed Certification Texas only.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
