Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Nights in Kent, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a dynamic industrial location, where you will conduct routine mobile and on foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related issues, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and an armed guard card or license. You will deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a caring culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry and/or exit of personnel, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with post orders.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Have a minimum of 1+ years of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
